    !! The phrase “skin of my teeth” could be seen in the Book of Job of the Bible. Job is presented as a good and prosperous family man who is beset by Satan with God's permission with horrendous disasters that take away all that he holds dear, including his offspring, his health, and his property. Job says, "My bone cleaveth to my skin, and to my flesh, and I am escaped with the skin of my teeth"
