On the Tip of One's Tongue——話到嘴邊但一時想不起

    ** about to be uttered, but unable to remember it at the moment（即將被說出來，但此刻無法記得起它。）

    !! The idiom cliché might have come from the psychological phenomenon named Tip of the tongue (TOT). People experiencing this phenomenon are able to recall some of the things, but not enough, regarding the actual thing they are trying to remember, even though they are sure they know them.

    （這成語陳詞可能來自於名為“Tip of the tongue(TOT)”的心理現象。遇到這種現象的人能夠回憶起一些他們想要記得的實際事情，但還不夠，即使他們確信他們是知道的。）

    !! In recalling something, one literally feels that the words are at the tip of the tongue, and could formulat-e them with a slight further effort.

    （在回憶一些事情時，人們確實認為這些話就在舌尖，只需稍加努力就可表達出來。）

    >> I often remember what other people look like, but their names are always on the tip of my tongue.
