Life Is Just a Bowl of Cherries──生活並非總是美好

    !! Cherries are sometimes sweet, and sometimes bitter, so as life.  So, the phrase is most often used ironically to suggest that life is in fact falling short of the pleasures implied by a bowl of cherries.

    櫻桃有時是甜的，有時是苦的，人生亦是如此。因此，這句話最常被諷刺地用來表示生活實際上達不到一碗櫻桃所暗示的樂趣。

    !! In 1931, Lew Brown (lyrics) and Ray Henderson (composer) used the phrase as the title of their song, which was featured in the Broadway musical "George White's Scandals" of the same year, in a positive manner.
